    DS does not have an attic, but it does have a folder with sequences saved in case they are needed for crash recovery... if you can get to these quckly, and copy them out to a folder somewhere safe you should be able to use one of them. Not infront of the machine right now,so from memory it's gong to be somewhere inside; programs/avid/DS8.4 &

    I'm guessing the file is Qt? If so then linkng is not possiable in X64... A (somewhat ugly) workaround would be to import it into a custom (1280x720) project , export as a file seq (DPX for example), and then link to the DPX, and then go on as per Sylvain's suggestions... d.

With knowing what your hardware is, it's hard to know where to start looking.. i'm guessing it's the audio i/o, keyops i think? that was 1 RU.... You can re-load the software and tell it

    you can download the X64 v10.1 release, install, and then run the 10.1.2 update, if it does not see a licence it will run in training mode. ez-peazy! One note, if you are going to open up an existing project, only use a copy as once it's opened in traning mode it's not going to open in a licenced D d.

    Try to use assy and route ch 9->12 through 1->4, and then insert 1->8 normaly on the second pass... you can't insert on 9-> 12 on the second pass ( at least my tape op could not get it to work) d.
