Long time user of the legacy titler. Finaly forced to switch to Titler+ because of Catalina. When I creat a basic white title the levels of the white as reported by color-info are 255 (8bit). Does titler+ not respect the video levels?

It's a mixed bag. Things like ff.works and the Optimus media player can read them. Resolve/Fusion is fine. But the key software, After Effects and Nuke do not read them. That's the kicker.

With my new Mac being Mojave only I am forced to export Quicktimes that require the new codec pack. How can I make a conversion (posibly using external software) to the older codec format so my clients can use my files? The conversion must again happen on my Mojave system. Is this posssible?

Just went back to 2018.12.7 on High Sierra on a different machine. Tried with only 2 tracks and still get the same random scrambling. Has this always been an issue? How can you conform with EDLs like this?

I have a simple sequence with 7 video tracks. Each track has a different clip of the same duration at the same record time. I'm making a file_32 EDL with markers and clip names on. Using sort mode A. Whenever I hit Previw or Update in the list tool the events are in a different random order. Impossible to figure out which clip is on a higher track

I need to export a quicktime from MC 2020.4 from Catalina OS, using DNx115. My idea was to export a UME quicktime then move it over to another system running a 32bit OS to convert to the old style quicltime file. I'm unsure as to which codec I need to install to get the UME file to open on the old system. I tried the 2.7.6 LE codec from the download

AAF from Media Composer to Pro Tools should be a seamless process but it is far from it. There are a bunch of caveats that must be adhered to to avoid crashes or to make sure that all the information is carried over correctly. 1. AAF export hangs when you have Multicam clips in the timeline. This is a straight up bug that needs to be addressed. Workaround

Does there exist a definitive list of which audio plugins will work inside Media Composer. All the lists I find just seem to list ProTools compatible ones. thanks

I'm doing everything on a10bit monitor through Artist IO. I export SAS once with mask margins on and once with them off. I import both files back in and cut them on tracks 2 and 3 of the original timeline. And I can visually see the difference between the nomask and mask. Maybe it's an exageration to say 8-bit quantizing, but you know how grads
