i can't seem to partition after I stripe. i'm in the mac disk utility. i striped the two disks together -- Raid 0 at the highest raid block size. worked fine -- i now have one striped raid set online. but there is not option to partition this raid. i can see the original unstriped drive icons on the left hand side, and i have the option to partition

got it. but do i first partition my two 1TB drives into four 500 GB partitions. and then stripe all four partitions into one raid 0. or do i stripe 2 partitions into one raid and the other two partitions into a second raid? thank you

trying to make the raid. confused... do i partition the drives into 500 gig partitions first? then strip into pairs? or stripe all partitions together? or do i first stripe to the drives together and then partition??? confused

I need to stripe two (maybe three) 1TB Apple SATA internal 7200 rpm hard drives together - Raid 0. For an 8-bit Beta SP job. Can anyone recommend partition sizes? I using a new two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Macpro, 4 gigs of ram and Media Composer software 2.7. Thank you.

Will a non-Avid RAID work with the new Avid Media Composer software(mac) and Mojo. Or do I need to purchase an Avid product for storage. Thank you.
