Have You tried to modify the QualifiedGpuBoards.txt file in the Media Composer\SupportingFiles\Config folder to include Your card? If correctly modified You should see a qualified board found (or similiar) message on the startup splash screen when initializing ACPL. Do not know if it is going to help but I'd give
JR, do You use FSP at all?
Sure do, quite a bit...but I never quit MC in FSP mode. Maybe it has something to do with how much one uses FSP mode, I dunno. Sure is annoying though. I've had to do a hard shut down too many times when it just hangs.

Hi Luca, Thanks for responding but none of the Readme's for v3.1.x.x mentions the AvidVideoMirror bug at all. So I am assuming those downloads would be of no help. Regards, JR

Everything is fine for about 40 seconds, then the audio meters peak like mad and it distorts worse than one of my freshman

I feel you're pain. http://community.avid.com/forums/p/74685/417872.aspx#417872 Going back to 3.1.1 fixed the audio distortion thing for me. Maybe 4.x works, who knows? Best of luck, JR

Since then, I keep my computer always fully updated at Windows Update in the
