cuervo? anybody? bump

i'm shooting hdv, 720p, 24p on a jvc hd100 to a dr-hd100 firestore. i'm capturing the files as m2ts and get the resulting sync drift when i import those files directly into avid. i've used cineform in the past to 'transcode' the m2ts to usable m2ts for import, but others (cuervo) have said that procoder 3 is 'very, very fast'

drop the .mxf files in to the Avid media Files folder on your media drives. Then pull up the media tool in your project - you should be visable as master clips and you can drag them over to your bin.

I have an HD100 and a DR-HD100 hard drive recorder. same problems as everyone else. however, if i capture the m2t stream out of the hard drive recorder using cineform, the files import fine. to be clear, i shoot 24p HDV to m2t files on the DR-HD100 - the files imported into avid directly show the sync problem. if i playback these files through cineform

cuervo- have you found anyway to pull working 24p m2ts w/ pulldown? Reason being i'd like to be able to have footage w/ the 24p look, usable in 30i project (to mix w/ SD 24p footage previously shot for clients).

swil- what are you using to capture externally and are you able to import the 24p footage w/ the pulldown for edit in a 30i project? what codec is used and comparitivly, what are the file sizes (HDV to your codec). my goal: i've been shooting/archiving footage for several clients w/ this in DV 24p for several years. I'd love to be able to combine

thanks, BLKDog seems to have solved the problem - i''m assuming this is a bug in the plugin that has been brought to the attention of Avid? obviously never had this problem before. Will i get better response from all my media drives if they aren't available on the network? thanks, strimps.
