  • Re: How to finish?

Just thought I'd mention, about half the clips used in the :30 trailer did not show up, appearing in the list with a ? next to them. After a little futzing around, I figured out where they actually were, changed the path, and everything was HDxHD220 after that, but it was touch and go. My concern on the longer show is that many clips don't show

Yes, I have a :30 trailer for the project and I'm going to try that first as a test run. Thanks!

As indicated, the footage was imported...no linking. All the original camera files are stored on a 3tb ext drive. Nothing has been transcoded. Just need video nice and sharp for final output. Thanks!

  • How to finish?

Hi all, I am wrapping up a half-hour documentary and need some assistance. Most of the footage was imported at fairly low rez, some at DNxHD 45, some at DNxHD 75 and my question is this: what is the best way to up-rez this footage, shot with a Panasonic GH-3 in full HD 1080p 30fps .mov format? I seemed to remember that I used to make a copy of the final

  • Re: AMA linking

Project was created using 1080P 29.97. I was wondering if it would work if I took the final sequence, deleted the media or un-linked the clips, then did an import using the DNxHD 220 option. Not sure how to un-link the clips, but can't be that hard. Other than not having to import a lot of clips at the beginning of a project, which can take time

  • Re: AMA linking

I am using MC 7.0 and the camera is producing MPEG-4 (Quicktime) files, according to MediaInfo. I went to a Creative Cow tutorial and pretty much think I have the linking part figured out. Now what I am not sure of, is how to export the sequence at a high resolution, say DNxHD 200? When I tried to export a test sequence, I got a message box telling

  • AMA linking

HI all, I did a search but didn't find anything on point. Could someone walk me through the process of using AMA instead of importing each clip to my hard drive? So far, I have taken the SD card containing all the .mov clips (shot with a Panasonic GH3) and copied them to a folder on an internal hard drive. Then I think I opened a project, turned

  • Re: video playback

Hu BenoitM, I did as you suggested except I couldn't find the "Chart" of the external USB disk, but CPU usuage averaged 4-8% and, when playing MC, memory ususage was locked at 5.66g (I have a total of 16gigs).Seems like under ten percent CPU ususage would allow plenty of margin for error when it comes to playing back full HD. I think when
