Yes, all that works fine for me as well. But I have a Boot Camp Partition for other reasons AND I wanted to use Metafuze. Ideally, an OS X version of Metafuze would avoid all this. But that will happen some time between years from now and never, with my luck.

If you have FCP you could import your QT export and then "Modify" the "TimeCode" and then the QT itself will have a TC track thereafter. I think.

To append another question to this one, I seem to be able now to import a QT that already has embedded TC into Avid and the TC now makes it through the import! (No more workarounds required...) Was this something that got added to 3.5.1? TIA

With me this began when I upgraded to 3.0 on a Leopard system. It is still bad on 3.05. I have had to transfer bins with sequences to my Laptop running 10.4.11, AMC 2.8 and whatever the version of Filmscribe that comes with 2.8 (sorry not on my laptop at the moment). Those sequences generate the lists I want with the LabRoll and Camera Roll etc columns
