I'm using the stabilize effect on a shot, simple 1point track and seems to work well. But when I switch back to Output the result is half off of the screen and I then have to move the shot back to the middle, is this normal? Am I missing something obvious?

For others in a similar situation, the obvious answer is to use some software to restamp the timecode. Higher end pricey products like... Pomfort Silver Stack Gluetools plugins or MonkeyJobs DPX-Timecode-Editor which is cheap and seems to do the job. or if you can script, the free ImageMagick

Thanks for the reply sylvain. Could I capture the dpx's to gen and then manually add/modify TC and set Source Roll #, like in avid. Would an imported edl/afe then link? (if the metadatas right off course)

I'm going to be receiving graded takes exported from an iQ as DPX files to seperate folders. Previously, I was able to easily then conform from these files using afe/edl's. Thanks for the replys. Its the fact that it needs TWO decimals in between the start and end frame numbers that was catching me out. So obvious about expanding image seq's in Avid explorer, the icon is even a folder, duh. Any shortcuts to go to the start and end of effects? Anyone...

Bear with me, learning DS.... 1. Using the outsource effect... I need image0001.ext, image0002.ext, etc. Tried this example from DSwiki, filename.[x;y].tif, but ends up with image0.3[0.3].ext, etc. Any ideas... 2. Also how can i view an image sequence (actually DSLR stills) in Avid Explorer without it "collapsing" or showing all the file as
