  • "P2 Import" Selection Gone in 3.5.4?

    Just upgraded from MC 2.8.3 to 3.5.4 and now I can't seem to find or get the "P2 Import" under the File menu to show up. The "Import XDCAM Proxy" seems to be missing too. I've tried selecting a bin and then going to File menu; tried selecting the Project window and going to File menu - but nothing there. Looked through Help

    Thanks for the info. I wondered about the HD-SDI. However, what about a file-based workflow? Capturing footage over Firewire or SDI is very 2006. :) I use a Firestore with my XH-A1, so sounds like I'm still up a creek for the moment. And in a 60i project it will still "look" like 24fps, but of course it's not since pulldown was added

    Dude, I feel your pain. Some folks in this thread claim it works, but I have NOT been able to make it happen. I've been transcoding my 24F (23.98) HDV files with MPEGStreamClip for over one year. I transcode to DNxHD 175 or 115, then import into my 1080p23.98 HD project. It really sucks because it's VERY time consuming and you also lose the

    Yes, how do you open the "Advanced Timeline Dialog"? Is this an MC function? Or Liquid? I've been transcoding 24F footage for over a year now to work within Avid. Would love to find out how to make it work natively... thanks.

    With MC 3.0 soft can you now import 1080p24 .m2t files? If not, how about with Mojo DX box attached? Thanks, Blake

  • Uninstall Xpress Pro Help

    I installed MC 2.8.1 without uninstalling Xpress Pro 5.7.7... My system is really acting up big time. QT player won't play ANY Avid codec movies. Sorensen Squeeze crashes when opening any Avid codec movies. All kinds of issues. I've tried to now unistall Xpress Pro, but when I try through Add/Remove programs it won't let me. Says something

    Thanks for the info. I've used 175 a lot and the file size really starts to eat up my drives so I'm going to try 115. I've done some test and I can see no visual difference between the two. Since I"m not actually capturing though it would be challenging to go to 175 later. I'm transcoding the raw M2T files to DNxHD losing all time
