  • Re: Unable to Export Interlace SD H.264

Thanks for this. The thing is I've tried changing all the field order settings several times and the resulting Quicktime always comes out as progressive anyway, and I always end up getting a similar kind of jitteriness no matter what field order I choose.

  • Unable to Export Interlace SD H.264

Hello, My company has a lot of older junkets on Beta SP and DVCAM that we are looking to digitize and hopefully sell to Getty. Getty says it would prefer to keep the footage as close to native quality as possible, which means keeping it standard definition and not up-rezing it. I am digitizing the tapes into a 30i NTSC (as that is the only SD option

  • Re: Unable to Check-In 4K Footage Into Interplay

I actually got in touch with Avid about this issue and it turns out that with the most current versions of Media Composer and Interplay you are still unable to check-in higher than HD resolutions. If you want to relink footage to 4K you need to work in a suite as an island, unhooked from Interplay. http://resources.avid.com/SupportFiles/attach/README_Avid_Editor_v8_4

  • Unable to Check-In 4K Footage Into Interplay

Hello, Our company recently upgraded to ISIS 5500, Media Composer 8.4, and Interplay 3.3. With Media Composer 8 we're able to work with 4K footage but it doesn't seem that Interplay is ready to work with the 4K stuff. I want to be able to load 4K footage and then check it into Interplay for us to use, just like we do with all our HD footage

  • Re: Specs of UltraHD XAVC OP1A

Thanks for the help Joachim, this is definitely helpful. Now I just have to work toward acheiving the listed bit rate, I'm getting 200 Mbps right now. I'll do that after I figure out how to export a file that's longer than 3 minutes. Thanks for your help!
