Hi, today I got Snow Leopard, installed it and what a surprise - Avid MC 3.0 works. I have MBP SantaRosa, later I will play with it, try to connect some FW devices and will see what will happen then, if everything will be ok, maybe it is worth to try to install SL on MacPro with NitrisDX.

Strange question from ACSR.... You already answered your question, yes, you can mix them together, play, export, do whatever you want, but remember, it will play more smoothly and will export quicker if you transcode everything to one format at the end.

quick workaround: if you enter title tool to edit title and see black background w/o video, then just press twice video background button (button with green V sign), after that you will be able to see video in title tool.

Update. Problem was in foulty NitrisDX box. After talking to Avid, they sent on next day new one and now everything works fine. Thanks God we bought Assurance. :)

I trie to connect Beta with Component, Composite, S-video. Nothing works, I'll try reinstall system.

Hi, today I got may new MacPro/MC Nitris DX system and from the begginning everything was OK, I played couple of hours with HD video, but then I connected BetaSP and suddenly I cannot see any SD video coming into system, composite, component, s-video...nothing. So, waht could be the problem, where to start? reinstall system? current (nonworking) setup
