  • Re: Problems Importing Video Files

The files range 80MB to 1.2GB. We were able to import the files into After Effects and save them as a quicktime file and then import the quicktime into MC. After looking at the footage it appears that there are "dropouts" or "digitizing" occuring with the footage. I am using a sony NX5 to capture my footage and capturing to a Flash

  • Re: Burning a long DVD

I actually have it working I think. I turned the target bit rate down to 6660 to where the file would fit on the disk. Which has sparked a new question. Would there be a quality difference between taking my file from MC to Sorenson to Sonic VS taking it directly into Sonic from MC. Was not sure is compressing in Sorenson first would offer any benifits

  • Burning a long DVD

Hello All!! I just loaded my sequence into Avid DVD by Sonic to burn a DVD. The project is 2 hours and 40 minutes long and I am burning it to a Dual Layer DVD 9. The current project is 10.1GB and I need to get it to 8.5GB. I was curious which settings would give me the best burn. VBR or CBR? I was also wondering if there were any suggestions for Min

  • Capture Tool Error?

When I try to capture a tape I keep getting an Error message. MC is recognizing the deck, Video 1 and both audio channels. I receive the error message after I stop capture and MC tries to load it to my selected bin. "An Error has occurred Assertion failed buffer File:..\..\src\mem\PhysicalMemoryallocator.c, Line 1217 " I have plenty of storage

  • Re: Adjusting audio on the timeline?

I have mapped the keyframe to my keyboard and in past years I never had any issues. For some reason I can add the keyframes to the clips in the timeline but i cannot adjust them. My mouse is not changing to a hand or allowing me to slide the keyframe. I did not know if 5.5 had another setting I am overlooking Thanks
