How about this. Change the project to SD. Select all the clips he wants and do a "Transcode" to the resolution he wants. Point to the transfer drive to do this. You will get copies of the clips in SD that you can then give to him.

Editshare does do project sharing, but so does Terrablock at this point. Terrablock handles more bandwidth than Editshare, so it depends upon your workflow which you should look at.

If it works with TC off, but not with TC on, the obvious suspect is the TC. There can be tiny breaks that Avid is catching, or it can be the code is just bad. Can you try a known good tape that have successfully used on another system?
