I have experienced this problem on a J30SDI as well. It seems that the camera, a 790, has somehow set the Drop Frame flag in the Timecode stream after a power up, even though there can't be Drop Frame timecode in PAL. In this case the timecode was Time Of Day. If you looked at the timecode display on the deck you could see a flashing point between
