As an alternative, don't trim...use the lift and extract commands. Lift will remove the material between 2 in and outs and slide all following clips down to fill the hole. Extract does the same but leaves the hole open. I find that these commands occasionally work better than Trimming. Especially when working with a project that has a large number

I am interesed in this camera to replace an aging DVCAM. I see from the information that it records as .mov or .mp4 (but only with an add on accessory that apparentsly allows the encoding).
