  • Re: Could not open file because "DISK_LOCKED"

Hi Marianna, Thanks for the response. My hard drive has 2.77 TB of disk space so I don't think it is that. I ran First Aid as well. I have not seen this message come up since. My biggest problem is exporting same as source because the format of the video is AVC Long-GOP Constrained Baseline (HD1080p). I have custom exported the sequence but it comes

Thanks for the response. I have read and write permissions on the disk so it isn't that. As for the adapter, it is now gone. Thanks for the aritcle. However, there remains a small, square, green dot. I've seen these before but can't remember what it indicates.

Could it be that because I'm using my drive in source browser mode and not importing the footage the reason I'm having this difficulty?

Before I can do that I need to figure out what is going on with my drive space. Under target drive (for mixdown) I am getting the message 'All drives filtered out' and below it says 0 MB available. Below resolution it says 'About 108820 MB required'

Should mention I have'nt been able to export with same as source. That could be the problem. When I do attempt it, I get this message Long GOP media can not be exported using same as source. Please select a custom resolution or transcode to an I-frame only resolution instead. I have no idea what this means. Appreciate any help. Thanks, John

Hello, I'm trying to export a video to be put on You Tube but my codecs are making everything look thinner and grainy. I've tried H.264 and MPEG4. Are there any others I should trying? Thanks in advance, John
