• Re: Unable to Export Interlace SD H.264

Your field order is wrong. It should be upper in most cases, lower if your source was DV. If you get it wrong, playback will be jittery.

  • Re: Deinterlacing

The SAS files should be bit for bit identical to what was on the original tape. In most cases, that is the best thing for your client to use. Seeing the interlaced stripes can be due to an error in the conversion, an error in deinterlacing, an error in the playback viewer, or even (as imy case) due to a deliberate choice to NOT delinterlace playback

  • Re: audio tracks problem

Duplicate your A1 track and cut it into A2 in your sequence. (Or just cut it in to A2 from your multicam source.) No need to mix anything down.

  • Re: Adobe Pro Video Apps Now Support ProRes Export on Windows
Hopefully AME will just keep same resolution and fps and let you select codec. I hate that you have to specify output settings.
There's a big "Match Source" button in the video settings that lets you do that. Looks like they've made the audio configuration a little more user friendly too.

  • Re: Quicktime Reference Video Encoding

Adobe Media Encoder CC2019 no longer handles QTRef. You have to use AME CC2017. They can be co-installed. It has to do with Adobe (and everybody's) response to QT being unsecure and deprecated by Apple.

  • Re: MC 2018.10.0 Released

Yes. I have the same issue with AVCHD material. If I link to a folder with multiple subfolders it all gets dumped into the same bin. 2018.9 (and earlier) worked correctly. Thank you for mentioning it. I'm generally so eager to get working I haven't taken the time to report it.

  • Re: Auto sync options for MC

Pluraleyes 3.5 works perfectly well for Avid. True, it is not as fast as the new version. You're in a less than ideal situation, but you have several viable options. Resolve ->Avid, or Premiere->Resolve->Avid are other routes to consider as well.

  • Re: batch import or transcode?

Hi. What I usually do with graphics is delete the original media but not the master clip, then batch reimport the clip at the higher resolution. 220 is better than 175, but you'll be hard-pressed to see the difference in most circumstances. As for the Pro Tools mix, you will want to create an AAF with the audio media either embedded or in a separate
I have a couple questions; here goes. I have a sequence made up of clips I imported at DNxHD 45 that I would like to export at a higher resolution, like DNxHD 175. None of the clips are AMA linked, all were imported from various folders on my computer in the normal fashion. What would the best way to up rez these clips
