Yes-I use the Mojo with firewire connection to a small Sony deck (DV deck) with full machine control. I use the firewire connection on th mojo. I have a MAC Dual core G5 with Avid MC 2.8. No bus errors with the Mojo.

Also Firewire out to DV dosen't seem to work, Unhooking Mojo and going straight with 1394 to deck. Any hints here? Thanks Got DV to work fine--forgot to check the Montior dispaly box.

In what formats can HD/HDV be put to tape using a MC and a standard Mojo (non-SDI) or is a SDI Mojo Required? I've been trying to go to a sony HDV -HVR-M15u Deck via fire-wire (Out putting HDV and DNX Converted footage) with no luck. Outputting

You using mojo? I believe HD requires Hardware with Avid.

THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE FOR AVID!!. They have always dominated NAB and their withdrawl will signal a defeat to everyone at NAB. I've been in Marketing/advertising for 25 years and believe me they will regret this stupid decision. They better fire their MBAs before they run the company out of business!
