QT ref is no quality loss, why dont you just test it what i found important is: always square pix, even if you have a16/9 programme, use 4/3 squarepix to export (you can still interprete as 16/9 nonsquare in AE) use avid codec if possible or transcode in MC to a non-gop res render to a higher avid coddec, e.g DV25 from avid render to DV50 avid codec

hi just a guess: the fotos you imported, are they in the timeline with an AVID Pan+Zoom effect? I stopped using that, because the system gets very slow if you use more then, say2 fotos. Appearently that effect uses a lot of RAM after I made all foto pan+zooms in AFX and imported as QT, everything went smooth ever tried w/o pan+zoom? in my oppinion,

hi i get the best results using the AVID DV QT codec for export and import from/to MCA it will only work if you use a squarepix comp 768*576pix / lower field you'll get better results if you use at least DV50 for comps in AFX cheers m

Hi I replaced my fixed workstation with the mobile one, because it seemed that I can use the internal FW to connect the Mojo and the eSATA port for external storage. Just bought a Lacie 2big quadra dirve (1.5TB) and hooked it up to the eSATA port, but it didn't show off in my comp->manage->disk management. Updated the intel matrix storage
