Hello, I would advise not sending the editor anything except for a hard drive with the raw media on it. The only people prepping media for an edit should be pro Editors or pro Assistant Editors. Otherwise the editor will be spoending more time fixing and figuring out. Or hire someone to do it for you.

Sorry, there is no way to see it in a higher resolution than it is. If the image was captured by a camera shooting 720 pixels wide by 486 pixels high, then that's all you get. Those artifacts you are seeing are the actual interlaced pixels. They only become smoother when played. Stretching an SD image larger, over a 1920x1080 pixel canvas doesn't

So if you are hitting play in the Media Composer software, everything looks fine? But when you export it looks bad? If so, do this: 1) Export. 2) Options. 3) QuickTime Movie -> Custom (not Same-as-Source). 4) Format Options -> Settings. 5) Compression type: DNxHD Codec. Frame Rate: Current. Resolutions: (pick your desired). Click OK. 6) Format

Hold on a minute... Let's go back to your original post. There are two separate possibilities to what you are dealing with. I am unclear which one is the issue. Please look at these following two scenarios and tell me which one is correct: Scenario 1) You have digitized 4x3 SD media from tape or imported from a file into an HD project. Everything
