This is silly. Why not make it for those that are also on a plan right now? The details were vague in the offer so I also renewed early - only to find out now that I am out of "luck" Who decides these "offers" anyway? I understand getting people back to Avid but what about those that have paid and kept up to date? Getting more tired

  • AMD RX480

Curious if anyone has tried this card with MC 8.6.1 and if you have, please give details. Not looking for why Nvidia should be used arguments or anything about Nvidia. We all know Nvidia works.... I currently have a GTX780SC and K2000D in my system but the RX480 numbers look better in Davinci Resolve Studio on the BM forum. As I use both Avid and Resolve

  • Re: The great Windows 10 Upgrade - Whats compatible and all that!

I've been using Windows 10 for awhile (even before it was approved) I've had no problems and the system is stable. I'm using an Intensity card as well. I can't comment on BCC8 but Red works. New Blue also works for me. If you are between projects, now is the time. You'll want to read more about turning off Windows 10 "features"

I'm wondering if its a chipset issue. The T7500 I'm on uses Intel 5520 chipset with dual LG1366 sockets with Xeon's installed and I'm using the onboard FW.

As for batch, I didn't try batch digitizing as I was naming the clips as I went and was grabbing large chunks. I haven't had to use HDV in a very long time so I can't say that Windows 10 fixes it. It may be that the OHCI drivers in Windows 10 are updated compared to Windows 7 or 8. What is the version on W7 and W8 and I will compare with

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. My project is a 1080i/59.94 project Color space is YCbCr709. I also disable my Blackmagic Intensity Card within the Avid. The card must be disabled. I only see the footage on my edit monitor but not the client monitor as the BM card has been disabled.
