Can someone please help me? The website won't let me purchase a support code, won't let me chat with a live person and won't allow me to speak to support unless I have a support code. I have to create a "case" and I know nobody is going to get back to me. The Avid website is messed up. I tried both the Chrome and DuckDuckGo browers

I discovered I can no longer automatically renew my annual membership online unless I pay in euros and it won't take my payment since I pay in U.S. dollars. It does not allow me to change the currency. Also I can't find the phone number for Avid Sales on the Avid web site. I tried googling and it only gives me the phone number for Avid Support

So if I'm using an Apple M1 chip, I should not upgrade to 14.3?
Rouch We are testing this as I type and shoud be able to approve soon. Some brave souls here have tried it and it seems to work ok.... I would stick with it and upgrade MC when we approve. Marianna
Apple just released MacOS 14.1.1 just now. I upgraded to Sonoma 14.0 in late September. Back then I had no issues
Anyone "in the know" care to weigh in? I mean, someone had to ask. 😜
I very reluctantly and grudgingly installed Sonoma even though I know I shouldn't have. This is because in the past everytime Apple releases a new OS, Avid takes forever releasing a new version of Media Composer that is compatible
Or install Apple's Pro Video Formats, so QT X player will let you play DNx files. https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2100?locale=en_US
Just did, thanks.
Your MOV export settings appear to be OK (but mono). However, you seem to be using the 'Send to QT preset. Which means MC will output at whatever (QT) options were recorded under that 'Send To' option. Looks like that Send To preset included Stereoscopic options (hence the L and R eye files). I'd
