I am a television editor based in London (UK) specialising in reality television. As well as a fast and creative editor, I’m also an AVID expert, with 10 years of experience (including advanced FX). This season on Australian Idol, my third year on the show, I managed the editing process (a team of assistants and up to four editors) as well as editing major standalone audition episodes (including London/Adelaide, Sydney, Top 100 Week/Green Mile). In 2007 I edited the ‘Sydney’, ‘Melbourne’ and ‘Green Mile’ audition episodes as well as numerous VT packages for live shows. In 2008, the launch series of So You Think You Can Dance (Australia) found me editing the Top 100 audition episode as well as many VT packages, including weekly packages of the dance couples practicing their difficult routines. As Supervising Editor I also faced the technical and logistical challenges of such a massive new show.
Between Idols, I worked on the first two seasons of The Biggest Loser Australia including editing parts of the series premiere amongst other highlights (a New Zealand triathlon episode was a particular favourite). I also helped out on several episodes of the third series in 2008.
