About Mary Beth Ross

Semi-retired former English professor who taught composition in a computer lab at a major northeast university as early as 1984. Bought Avid Cinema bundled with a Matrox graphics card in 1998 and a Hi-8 Sony. Worked up from Cinema to Xpress 3.5 (to 5.0) with a Sony PDX-10, and Xpress 5.8 to Media Composer 3.1 with a Sony V1U. Currently enrolled in a film/video program in Charlotte and shooting first narrative film with 35mm adapter on V1U with Nikon lens. Member of the Charlotte Film Community.
