About Ashley Smith

I started editing on a Convergence Editor and 3 Ampex VPR2Bs, through a GVG switcher. I have been using Avids since they first came out, with an initial stint on Lightworks. I founded and managed a facility house, and now run a niche operation: 1 studio in Cape Town, 1 in a small country village called McGregor.
