An Island Warner Brothers Film, 1986. I was Director of Location Photography, and Consultant to the DP...I have been asked by TTED/Island to recreate the footage. Using a raw feed of the film from its VHS copy, converting the HD MPEG transfer to editable Video, along with the original 24 track recordings converted to ProTools 7.3.1 , (24 bit @ 48 Hz) into AVID for assembly: There are obvious limitations to the original audio recording during filming. Digital field recording was unheard of or extremely expensive. The audio transfers from the 2" masters to ProTools is like putting a 1972 Zenith Color TV next to a Plasma screen? The film in its format (analog) is limited compared to todays technology. Source transfer considered, I did not have access to the original film*, just a VHS copy.

Cast of actors: Robert Doqui, Harris Yulin, Robert Brooks, Fred Braithwaite: Fab 5 Freddy, Art Garfunkel, Eric Dellums, Ron Canada, and Maxx Kidd. Produced by my friends Sean Ferrer and Doug Dilge, features the audio work of Academy Awards Winner: Russell Williams, ll. This is a mix of analog and HD digital. Chriss Blackwell and Island Films & Records 1986 (C) Bob Skye/ Skyelabs recorded live Regenerated and remastered footage and audio tracks are all the product of AVID Technology.
