A Year of Rice

It took 2 years to shoot the material for this video, but I feel it was time well spent.
This was captured and edited with Avid Liquid. If I had done this in MC I would reckon with an ven sharper picture.
The music was created in SonicFire Pro.
Encoding to the flv was done in FlixPro. (Why not in Squeeze? Simply becasue I have used FlixPro for years and find it extremely efficient for this specific job. (FlixPro is made by On2 Technologies - the creators of the On2 codec))
The data rate was 600 kbps. This is lower than I usually work with for the Web.
However the length of the video and the 50Mb limit on uploads made it necessary to use the lower rate.
One interesting fact about this video is that almost every Japanese who watches it says to me, "I never knew that!"
Rice may still be the staple food of Japan..... but few actually know the complicated path from eed to the table.
