  • Key Number corruption in the middle of a clip.

Hi Avid Film Forum! Here's your riddle of the day: I have a clip where the Key Number of the shot starts correct, and then in the middle of the shot switches to 00 00 0000 0000 for a minute, and then picks up with correct key numbers again. I only noticed the problem when Filmscribe gave errors for... (read more)

  • Filmscribe audio REC START/END inaccurate

Good Afternoon Everyone, I'm trying to use Filmscribe so that I can make a nice looking Excel spreadsheet listing the REC START/END of all audio in the sequence. This has normally been no problem for me, except that the new sequence I'm trying to work with is giving Filmscribe a problem. It lists... (read more)

  • Filmscribe Missing Labroll & Camroll in list MC 5.0.3.x

In every version of MC 5.0.3.x including the latest patch 5.0.3.7r, Filmscribe will not display Labroll and Camroll, I've verified in the bin view that the info is there. I tried sequences from two current film projects and still the same problem. Any explanation or help would be greatly appreciatively... (read more)

  • Film Scribe

Film Scribe v24.1.? How do I get rid of the purple title bar at the top of the document so I can print on 8 1/2 x 11 paper without printing the 2nd sheet, which only has the continuation of the purple bar? Even though I'm asking for just 3 columns of info, the purple bar goes far into the right side... (read more)

  • inaccurate dropframe durations in list

When I make a columnar list in FilmScribe, the durations for my four 10 second blacks come up as 09;28 or 09;29, never as 10;00. In Media Composer, those same 10 second blacks come up with an I/O of 10;00. (See jpeg with MC I/O positioned under FS list result.) Is there a way to get accurate Filmscribe... (read more)

  • Assemble list Master Duration and Start TC oddities

I've just generated assemble and pull lists for a 16mm 25fps (25p) project I'm working on. I've noticed two things in my lists that seem a little odd: i) In the Master Duration column, the duration as HH:MM:SS:FF and frames are one frame different. A 2" shows up as 50 frames (correct... • FilmScribe, XML and Custom Headings

The new implementation of XML into FilmScribe is great. However, I'd like to see further options to export all custom bin headings of my choice. I have a project wioth over 30 custom bin headings - eg. camera type, lens, focal length, server location etc - that I'd like to export to XML as sequence... (read more)
