    Yeah my MCv12 Meridien was windows with a USB dongle. Just to update, I did contact a reseller and they said that there wasn't an upgrade path. The only trade in you could have was for a MC Nitris DX. Hope this helps, it wasn't the news I was looking for... (read more)

    Hello. I have a Avid Media Composer 3.1.2 which I upgraded from Express Pro 5.8. I have used Express Pro on both windows and Mac and although It was slow on my windows machine, it worked in a pitch. I did use Avid DVD on it (Windows) occaisonally.
