  • working with network drives and avid

    hello, i have a raid box on a network drive for video storage and recently switched from pc to a mac. i can see the files when viewing in my mac os and i can see them when i open up projects in avid, but when i open the files all of them are off-line? any ideas of putting them on-line? thanks, steven (read more)

  • Relink

    I have had to move some OMFs to an external drive to make room on my internal ones. However, after I move them my clips state that the media is offline and when I try to relink the files it says there are no files to be found. Can anyone help me with this? (read more)

  • Choppy Streaming

    Hello all! Had a quick question. I recently hooked up a LACIE NETWORK DRIVE to my Xpress Pro system. When I started playing back my clips in the Avid the footage would look fine for a few seconds but then would slow down and get all choppy and out of sync with the audio. Is this a streaming problem?... (read more)

  • Xpress Pro and Network Drives

    Hello everyone, I use XPRESS PRO, but AVID will not recognize my LACIE NETWORK DRIVE. Does anyone know how to make the network drive recognizable so I can capture clips directly to my network drive? Thanks! (read more)
