Avid crashes as soon as opened

I'm running Avid Media Composer 3.5 academic on my Apple MacBookPro (Intel) on OS X 10.5.8. Avid will not boot. It crashes as soon as I launch the program. Academic to Full MC 3

I installed the Academic version of Media Composer 3 on a Mac (Intel, 10.5.5), then installed the Full Version. Then I upgraded to 3.0.5 (as an update/download). For some reason, when I start Avid, it still says "Academic" Do I need to UNINSTALL Avid, then Re-Install the full version to make... (read more)
