AMA mute audio bug - Will it ever get fixed?

I have MC 3.5 using footage shot with a Sony EX1. I've been so excited at how flawlessly AMA seemed to work, until I discovered that audio plays back only if it is cut to track 1&2. Bump! I've been running into similar problems, though our sequences usually peak between -8db and -4db. We export same-as-source compression quicktime files to a network drive and those files are mastered to dvd using Nero Vision or DVD Studio Pro. In either case, the audio levels on the resulting...
