    Hi, I'm working on an Avid Adrenaline on a 23.976 project. The issue we are having is that we've been given sound effects files from an Avid 24fps project. We've tried importing the files but Avid won't let us use them in the project. Does anyone have any thoughts for a work around on... (read more)

  • Shooting at 24fps filmspeed with PAL post-pro

    Hello, I would like to ask about one thing. I am going to shoot a film (35mm film camera) with 24fps film speed and the post-production will run in 25fps. Does that mean that the audio recorder (TC generator) will run at 25fps? Also, what is the sapling freq then? 48.000 or 48.048? I am kinda confused... (read more)

  • Matching 24p and 30i footage

    Hey There... I have 6 cameras t 30i and one camera at 24p. I've done a pull down on the 24p footage and brought it in to a 30i timeline and it syncs up nicely. Only thing is the motion of the conformed 24p footage is a bit too 'stroby' and looks noticeably different from the 30i footage.... (read more)

  • 24P Project with Firewire to Deck. Can't see client monitor

    Hello, Can you please tell me how to see the client monitor in my 24P project? I am trying to go out of the avid using firewire, then to a DVCAM deck, then to a monitor.
