  • conforming 50i footage into 24p

    Hi i'm on a 1080/50i project and need to conform it onto a 24fps one. Most of the movie will be re-conformed through Quantel Pablo, but the original rolling title created in Title Tool need his framerate to be changed too !!     I am using MC 3.5.1 on Macbook Pro (version 10.5.7) and Clipbrowser version 2.0. No problems bringing in 1080i/50 PAL material from an SxS card in the slot on the Mac.     I ran some tests with a borrowed 270 (which is the big brother of the z7) and found that all the media (60i with pulldown for 30p, 24p, or 24pa; as well as the 'true' 30P and 24P progressive footage) imports into the 1080i/59.94 Project as HDV 1080i 60 .     Long form project. Footage shot in XDCAM EX. Sony Clip Browser says files are 1440X1080 59.94i. I need to deliver at 1080 24fps. Running Media Composer Adrenaline HD.
