Howard Brock (hbrock)
Howard Brock has been involved in filmmaking longer than he can remember. After a few years of production work, Howard settled on editing and post production. Over the years he has worked on music videos, prime time specials, syndicated news shows, pilots, sitcoms and documentaries. Howard won a Emmy for Best Videotape Editing of a Series for "Fame" in 1984. Howard founded Matchframe Video and pioneered the concept of renting out sophisticated offline and online editing systems and grew his small rental operation to a full service post production facility with almost 100 employees. After leaving Matchframe in 2002 he returned to editing work doing both online and offline projects. Howard resides in Santa Monica, California.
Andrew Hillman ( AndrewAction)
Andrew has been in video production since founding his own small production company in the mid 80’s. Originally the company had tube cameras, that Andrew occasional drove badly, and a linear edit suite where his passion really lay. The company was involved with Broadcast, Corporate and Tourism promotional markets from the beginning. In the late 80’s Andrew developed an information based broadcast channel that has run 24 7 ever since. In the early 90’s Andrew moved toward non linear production, first with Protools and shortly after with an offline Avid. He is self taught on Pro Tools, Media Composer and Symphony systems and has owned and used both as his first choice production tools through every update to the most current versions.
Kevin McAuliffe (kevinpmcauliffe)
Kevin is currently a Senior Editor at MIJO in Toronto, Canada with clients including Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures and Alliance Films to name a few. He has been in the television industry for over 13 years, and cuts on the latest versions of Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony and Apple's Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Pro X, and has worked for Discovery Channel Canada and HGTV Canada as both an offline and online editor. He also spends a chunk of his days in Adobe's After Effects, which he has been using since version 3.5.
Alex Walker (Alex Walker)
Originally a FCP editor since version one, quickly jumped ship to Avid several years ago when he was given the opportunity to try it out. Alex's primary skill set is as a Director of Photography and is currently the youngest cinematographer with representation in the business. Shot his first paid full length feature at the age of 20. In total he has shot 4 features, dozens of music videos, and hundreds of spots and industrials. And it's only been a year since the first feature. Currently living in San Francisco where he and several others have joined up to offer a full pre through post production service with Avid as their primary editor.
