I'm apologizing in advance because I'm sure there is a post on this somewhere but I cannot locate it. I finally have my new computer and would like to get MC5 installed. I haven't installed MC4 yet. Can i just go ahead and install MC5? Thanks.

Yes. The installers are stand-alone, and do not require any previous installtion be present (except for a very few patch-releases). Go to the Downlaod Center, and get the latest version, 5.0.2.
