    Any alternative to Squeeze or Episode?

    Just wondering. I used Squeeze when I ran MC under windows, but have switched to OS X and am using this time as an opportunity to reevaluate my options.

    Pretty much the stanard on OS X is Compressor, which is part of the FCS package. However, if you install Windows in a virtualized environment, you can continue to use your PC software on the Mac as well.

    Sorenson Squeeze runs on Pc or Mac.

    The other program that I use is MPEG Streamclip.

    The Mac version of Squeeze comes with MC. I generallyl prefer Episode though (I just like the interface better)
