Dear friends :
I have Media Network 5 with one Avid Media Composer( Nitris DX) station and I have also One station ( After effect on PC ) and the other one is After Effect on MAC
so can I connect all of it with the media network , alsoI 'm thinking to buy another station jsut contain MC 4 without the hardware .
is it will work ??
If you can connect is only dependant on the number of licenses you have on the dongle of your unity.

Always have a backup of your projects....Always!!!! Yes Always!!!!
Software activation AND dongle is better then only software activation.

I have 8 licenses so I think it will be okay
Yes you are.
Just a piece of advice. I would create a seperate (or more then 1) workspace for the Adobe programs and call them for example "import" and "export" so you have a clear workflow from and to avid and After effects. This will keep avid media and other media seperate. the adobe programs only have acces to these "import export" workspaces. The avids you give acces to all workspaces.
Good luck.

Make sure you use the correct Avid Connection manager to mount the workspaces.. and add them as user in the MN5.. then you are set to go..
