    Film Project settings - AUDIO

Hi. I'm setting up a film project last minute. 35mm, 3 perf, shot at 24fps. Dailies being transferred at 25fps But just found out that sound is recording at 25fps. Should my project be as follows - 24p PAL (UK), Film, 35mm 3 Perf. Now -  Audio Transfer Film rate OR Video rate?

    Many thanks!

Sound is not recorded at any speed other than its sample rate. It may have TC25 as a timecode base, but that does not affect its actual speed.

If you are bringing in your sound from the originals, you should most defintely choose FILM RATE.

You only need Video Rate when you are bringing in sound that has been speeded up (like the sound on the TK tapes).
