It would be great that if when you had a stack of clips and one of which had a transition (see top of pic below), that when you Collapsed the clips the transition stayed in it's entirety (see bottom of pic below).
At the minute, the usual thing happens that the transition gets cut in half and nested in the Collapsed clip, so that you can't even see it on the top level.

I see what you're asking, but surely this kind of collapse behaviour would re-prioritize the track-specific transition (your example). It would 'jump' to the top level of the collapsed segment effect (whether that's a submaster or another effect) and all the elements underneath would be subject to that transition, which may not be what you want. In other words, it doesn't repect the stack edits you've made and makes the transition 'global.'

I see your point, they'd have to be a priority in case there was more than one transition (maybe the loweest track would be honoured over any other). And maybe my example was a bas one, as I think more often than not the transition would have been on V1 and the other tracks 'stacked' later.
It's just at the minute, when you collapse over a transition, it's split in half and hidden. I don't think anyone would want this, so I think either honour one track or get rid of the transition altogether.
