Can anyone tell me if the audio output from Dekocast is embedded in the SDI output only, or can it also play out through the PC's sound card output?

DekoCast can play audio embedded in the SDI stream or it can play audio out of the AES connectors on the back of the machine. You specify which to use in the Options->Preferences->Video Hardware Options and at the bottom of that screen, there's a drop down where you can select either SDI (embedded) or AES (discrete).

It cannot play out of the PC's sound card.

Thanks or that.... Unfortunatly, I dont see either of those things on my system. I am guessing itss because I am on version 3.6.7?

The AES output was not added until we went to the new Corsica card. Ver. 3.6.7 was only supported with Targa card - which only has the embedded audio output. In no case do we play it to the PC sound card.
