sorry for gushing, but may I just say how AWESOME it is to just dump some P2 footage onto my RAID somewhere, launch MC, open a bin, and link that P2 footage up, see the bin populate, and have the media INSTANTLY available at full resolution. just Awesome. no VTR head clogs, shuttling tapes and rolling in real-time...  what a Jetsons-style dream!

It is rad.. but remember that if you're doing anything more than a tiny project, Avid likes you to consolidate that stuff. (word direct from Marianna's peeps.)
