The subject explains it all.  Our original footage was shot at 23.97, so that is what we have as our project settings.  However, our DP just went out and shot some additional BRoll shots.  He says that he set up his camera at 1080 24p (essentially 23.97f), but I am unable to import the P2 files into my current project. 

I went ahead and made a 1080i 59.97f project, and the footage imports perfectly into that.  There isn't any audio for the additional BRoll, so I don't have to worry about sync.  I also know a work-around is to import the BRoll into the 1080i 59.97f project, then export the clips as QT's, and use those to import into the 23.97f project.  Just seeing if there is an easier process I am failing to come up with.
