Hi.
I try outline in SUB CAP,version 3.5.4, now in 4.0.2 of MC and don't happy with result.
Outline thikness is difference from left and right side of letter.
If I change size of box (one point change) outline change as well and some times I get good result (same outline thikness around all letters) in first line and bad in second line of subtitle.
This grate tool is still unuseable for work.
Andrze,
I have only tested the SubCap function in MC a few times. What I can't understand is why you would want to use an outline font in your subcaps.I thought that there are a few standard and accepted fonts that are used in Subcaps - because they are easily read. I would have thought that an outline font would not be easily read - even if the thickness was the same all around.
I am not sure if you use Cyrillic fonts - so maybe they are used as outline fonts in subcaps in Poland.
I use Japanese kanji in some of my subcaps. I would never dream of using an outline font.
What I am getting at is that if the standard fonts for subcaps are working correctly, I don't see why fixing the appearance of an outline font would be a priority. My advice would be to stick to the standard fonts and the standard style. Regards,Douglas

Douglas,
The OP is speaking about an added outline to the font. Regular white font with a black outline for instance.
My proplem with SubCap is that it tries to display all my fonts in a single dialogue box, which is larger than my two 22" screens, so I can't choose any fonts starting with an A or a Z (they fall of my monitors).
Thanks for pointing that out, Job.
I missed the point entirely.
Andrze, sorry for my misunderstanding of your problem!Hope someone else can help you out.
Regards,Douglas
