"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.xxxx.xx@tiscali.it"
(I changed your email address in case you don't want it broadcast to the world.) I assume that was in response to my first email sent yesterday.

For anyone having the same problem: I've changed the email in my profile to a Yahoo account, as suggested by Marianna who investigated the issue with the Avid web team, and now it works. hth
