Avid® is pleased to announce the release and availability of Avid PostDeko for Editors v8.2.
What is PostDeko for Editors?PostDeko for Editors is an AVX2 plug-in that provides the full Deko motion graphic creation environment within Avid Media Composer, NewsCutter, or Symphony editors.
In Broadcast: PostDeko for Editors lets existing Deko broadcast customers create one set of graphics for use both on-air and in the edit suite. This reduces production time, maintains consistent "look" for both live and pre- or post-production; and allows changes to be managed in the edit suite, cutting down on communication, re-creation, and transfer time.
In Post Production: PostDeko for Editors brings the advantages of core Deko creation tools post production artists. Deko's easy-to-use ability to provide high quality motion graphics make it a good fit for packages traditionally created in post facilities.
PostDeko for Editors v8.2Version 8.2 enhances the real-time playback of Deko effects from the Avid editor and provides support for Deko version 5.2 capabilities.
Note: *Real time preview is meant to allow for the Deko graphic and motion to show on the output for previewing only. It is not intended to render to the output in real-time for live playback. Please remember to render the effect into the timeline before playing to air.
