Avid Deko 1000 and 550 v5.2 Now Available

Avid® is pleased to announce the release and availability of Version 5.2 for Deko® 1000 and 550 models. Customers will see improved graphics workflow.

Deko 1000 v5.2
Version 5.2 for Deko 1000 provides the following usability improvements:

• The Sequence window now provides faster one click access to view graphic and motion files
• A new Graphic Properties submenu has been added so that the operator can now go directly to Graphic Properties in fewer steps.
• “Motion-in-Motion” functionality now supports “Play as group” and “Force Play”.
• In the Motion Editor, the “Play as a Group” control has been added for parent actions, and the “Ignore Parents” control has been added for child actions.

Deko 550 v5.2
Version 5.2 for Deko 550 provides the following usability improvements:

• The Sequence window now provides faster one click access to view graphic and motion files
• A new Graphic Properties submenu has been added so that the operator can now go directly to Graphic Properties in fewer steps.

Note: Deko 1000 and 550 models do not support 3D open formats and Glow and Glint Motion Behaviors capabilities found in the Deko 3000 model. For additional details on Deko 3000 v5.2 capabilities, visit the What’s New in Avid Deko Webpage.
