Hi everybody!
I'm working MC since 2.8
Dell M90 notebook - fully specified by Avid.
Now I get 3.5 update and Mojo SDI.
After installing new version I can see only "DMPort error" and "Vsync error" in Console window.
I'm using INTERNAL 1394 port - NO additional FireWire Drives.
there is no hardware conflicts with IRQ and something like this on my Windows XP Pro SP3.
I've power-cycled my Mojo SDI A HUNDRED times and I've used External PAL Sync Generator as REF souce for MOJO SDI
I've read a lot of discussions about such problem here on this forum and every Google search result - NO ANSWER!!!
Please help me to solve this 4000$ error
all I could find:
http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=244995&Hilite=DMPort+error
http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=244075&Hilite=Vsync+error
Looks to not be anything to worry about
HI!
You know - I'm in panic - because this is not " a benign bug" as described in one of links you've sent.
I CAN'T preview any video - source or sequence - on external monitor (via any MOJO SDI video outputs). Mojo's diagnostig is OK.
How can I find the source of "mechanism in the application that will continuously adjust this (1394) sync automatically"???
The only result I can see now - that I've purchased EXPENSIVE Video hardware that DOES'T WORK!!!
If the Mojo is in warranty you might want to look into contacting Avid and getting a replacement. I have never seen this issue before other than what I was able to find on the KB.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Thanks. But I'd like to get more explanations - maybe Avid tested Dell M90 in special configuration of 1394 - I've found that internal 1394 and internal card reader has one PCI bus. I've disabled card reader in Device Manager - no effect!!
What do you think about this?

I don't have a clue.
maybe someone else can jump in and offer some advice?
