Hey everyone.
I spotted a new(er) version of the Avid Codec LE package and downloaded it only to find that the Windows ZIP archive kept reporting "corruption".
I have downloaded the zip using Firefox/IE/Chrome and a download manager and they all report the same thing.
The page is here with the download links at the bottom:

Direct link:

Could someone else try and download/extract the archive as well, to confirm whether it is genuinely corrupt or not?

I believe you're right. I tried downloading the files and was not able to un-zip them using either XP's built-in extraction tool or 7-Zip.
I'm using the 2.0 codecs from this link: http://avidtechnology.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/avidtechnology.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=77958
The file size and folder name are different. They unzip fine and seem to work properly. I believe the pages you listed are corrupted somehow and should be taken down.
Thanks much for pointing this out. Hope Avid sees this thread.
Thanks Bobby, and phew... I wasn't going crazy. Oh, and yes, Avid should correct that archive/link/download as soon as possible.
Hi, Yes i'v just had exactly the same issue.
I Don't suppose anyone has the previous (working) ZIP package hosted? or a working direct link? The page linked above is Disabled now.
Thanks,
John
