Switched from 3.1.2 to 3.5.1 recently, first time trying to uprez from my SD cut to HD (dnx220, 1080i/59.94). Everything has seemed great, really stable and all, but then when I tried to render the effects in the HD, it won't do it... it acts like it is doing it, progress bar flies through way too quickly, but it isn't really rendering them at all, and I'm not talking about anything fancy, just a left to right push and a couple of keys. Renders fine in the SD project. Tried different user, tried different project, rebooted everything, same same same.

Have I missed something about 3.5.1? any new settings or whatnot?

I had this issue on a previous project. I had to video mixdown to see if the effects were correct. I was never able to get them to render and since a deadline was bearing down on me...that was my work around. If you end up doing this as well, be sure to save your project before each and every mixdown. Once and a while the whoe thing would just crash on me, requiring me to go back and start the effect from almost scratch again.
